New York Power Authority brings solar installation to Orchard Park Fire District

Workers from Solar Liberty, a solar panel installation company headquartered in Buffalo, put the finishing touches on a solar photovoltaic system situated atop the Orchard Park Fire District’s Central Station on July 14.
Implemented jointly by the New York Power Authority and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, the project supports Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo’s NY-Sun Initiative, which aims to scale up solar deployment across the state.
