Solar Liberty honored
Buffalo-based Solar Liberty was recognized as the largest solar installation company in the state for 2011 by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and the U.S. Department of Energy.
The designation was based on the number of systems installed and the kilowatt capacity brought online last year. Solar Liberty’s president, Adam Rizzo, accepted an “Outstanding Achievement” award for the company from NYSERDA officials at the ACI New York Energy Star Conference last month in Saratoga Springs.
