Rochester NY City council to vote on Solar Liberty contract

ROCHESTER, NY – The City of Rochester is planning to build a solar farm on the city’s northwest side.

City council will vote on a contract with Solar Liberty to build the solar farm on a former landfill on Lexington Avenue.  The city expects to save two million dollars on energy costs over the next 25 years.

Monroe County also selected Solar Liberty to build it’s solar farm.
